Applications for the Five Hundred Dollar Harris Funeral
Home Scholarships have been placed with the Guidance
Counselor’s office at Auburn High School, Loachapoka High
School and Opelika High School. |
 |
|
Presented annually by Jeffery Harris since 1999, the
scholarship program strives to recognize outstanding high
school seniors in area schools. Harris Funeral Home realize
the importance of giving back to our community. The
scholarship is based on academic achievement, scholastic
honors, work experience, community service, goals, and an
essay response. Final selections will be made by the HFH
Scholarship Selection Committee and will be announced in May
2012. To date, over twenty thousand dollars has been awarded
by Harris Funeral Home to high school seniors. |

Harris Funeral Home has a proud tradition of personal and
professional funeral service to Lee County since 1991.
Harris Funeral Home is proud to announce their Memorial
Scholarship winners for 2011. |

Community Education is central to the mission of Harris Funeral
Home. We would be happy to provide your organization or group with
our FREE educational program entitled, An Open Door Session on
Funerals, Cremation & Advance Planning. |

When it comes to burial, cremation and advance funeral planning, we
know that people have many questions. As funeral and cremation
specialists, we would be happy to provide answers to all of your
questions during this FREE program, which includes an optional tour
of our Funeral Home. |

Sessions may be held at our facility or at the location of your
choice. |
